  • Introducing Our Spring Collection

A change in season is the perfect excuse to transform your home, both inside and out. Our new Spring Collection focuses on those extraordinary details on furniture and accessories - contrasting colour, intricate design and textural decoration - that help shape your interiors style. For a complete spring makeover, draw inspiration from our three diverse but equally inviting looks: an apartment in the brand new Battersea Power Station redevelopment, a tranquil Canadian boat house, and a 21st century tribute to the doyenne of English Country House style, Nancy Lancaster.

Modern architecture doesn’t necessarily call for a modern interior design scheme. Inspired by the history of this iconic landmark and its present day purpose as a brand new urban quarter for London, we combined different periods and influences when decorating this sky-scraping new Battersea Power Station apartment and the result is much more soothing (and immune to the passage of time) than a top-to-toe modern look. Open-plan homes often pose the design challenge of how to create distinct living, dining and sleeping areas, but the chosen decor demarcates the space perfectly.

The Deco Console and matching side table (or stool if you prefer) are a handsome duo. Boasting beautifully curved lines and a simple design, they convey effortless style, and the neutral faux shagreen finish will easily camouflage into a multitude of schemes.

Our Rivulet Console Table is perfect for a city apartment where space is at a premium. At just 26cm deep, it will squeeze into the narrowest of spaces (such as along a hallway or behind a sofa) without any fuss, and the delicate antiqued silver-leafed frame and mirrored shelves make it almost invisible.

Great design is timeless, as proven by Nancy Lancaster’s continued influence on present day interior design. A bold pioneer of the English Country House style, she dispensed with the rigid grandeur of the Victorian age through her clever use of colour, lightness of touch and refusal to be constrained by tradition. Inspired by her a whimsical mix of grand, bold and dilapidated, we’ve designed a 21st century country house for relaxed and easy entertaining, that’s also full of character.

Nancy liked to entertain in beautiful surroundings and arranged rooms to encourage guests to practice the art of conversation. Neat but incredibly beautiful, our scallop-backed Cumulus Sofa makes the perfect perch on which to sit whilst having a cup of coffee with a dear friend – just add equally stunning cushions decorated with embellishment or embroidery for a truly luxurious look.

Nancy was also well known for her unpredictable styling choices, often juxtaposing a shabby piece of furniture with a grand room. Our Hopkirk Chest of Drawers is the perfect piece to execute this signature technique, as the heavily distressed finish combined with classical features gives it the appearance of a treasured vintage piece.

There’s something very special about our Saint Lawrence River boat house. Surrounded by nature and dominated by the quiet presence of the river, it has a peace and stillness rarely found. Situated at such a northern latitude, it benefits from long summer evenings and a softness of light that lends itself to an understated and muted colour palette. When it comes to furnishings, natural wood in all its forms combined with inviting textiles place emphasis on comfort and warmth.

A continuous theme of nature runs throughout our boat house, echoed in the chosen accessories that punctuate the scheme. We can’t decide if this graceful Tracery Lamp looks more like coral or the outline formed by a branching tree in winter; either way, it makes an excellent decorative feature in hallway whilst still being infinitely practical.

For awkward spaces in the home, a corner cabinet is the answer. Comprised of two useful storage sections with internal shelves, our attractive Vendome Corner Cabinet provides ample yet elegant storage for any room, housing everything from bedding in the bedroom, to towels in the bathroom, to crockery and glassware in the kitchen.
