Caring For Cushions & Pads

Our scatter cushions and pads are a range of fibre, feather and foam cores. All pads, irrespective of their fillings, require care and attention to ensure long life.

Maintenance & Care Instructions

  • Reverse and rotate cushions each week after vacuuming. If possible re-arrange the furniture occasionally to ensure even wear of cushions and other areas.

  • Cushions and pillows filled with down or similar filling material should be hand-fluffed and reversed regularly to preserve their original softness and resilience. Non-reversible cushions should have the pad turned inside the cover.

  • Fibre-filled pads should be regularly plumped to prevent fibres from binding, which causes cushions to flatten or lose shape.

  • Those products with a foam core will have a firmer feel initially but will lose some of their original hardness in the first few weeks. This is normal and will not affect performance.

  • Following the guidelines above will ensure product performance is maintained. OKA is not to be held responsible for defects caused by the misuse of your product.
