Founder and world-renowned interior designer Penny Morrison has always had a knack for creating harmonious spaces through seemingly clashing combinations. Pairing unexpected pieces, patterns and palettes, her designs are a visual feast brimming with color and exuding spontaneity and sophistication in equal measure.
With over 35 years of experience, Penny has accumulated an extensive list of clients. Her unique flair for creating charming interiors that are at once refined and undone has earned her a reputation as one of the most sought-after designers in Britain and around the world.

The inspiration for many of Penny’s designs comes from traveling. “I’m always taking photos of traditional local art that I see – tiles, fabrics, embroidery.” She’s especially drawn to Turkish and Moroccan floor tiles with intense, bright colors and strong patterns. Many of her designs feature patterns or motifs transposed from one medium to another, often zoomed in or repeated, for something completely unique.

Penny’s debut collection with OKA is a range of vibrant melamine plates and bowls, inspired by Spanish and Portuguese tin glaze pottery and featuring an original hand-drawn design by Penny.
