Entryways

A welcoming entryway is a preview of what to expect from the rest of the house, so your hall decoration should create a strong first impression. This can be achieved by introducing a stately console table to the room – an ideal place for resting keys and loose change – and ample storage for coats and umbrellas. A grand mirror could take pride of place in the entryway as somewhere to check your appearance whilst making the room appear larger. Feast your eyes on these entryway decorating ideas full of hand-made furniture and unique accessories.

Entryways - Join The Kew

The entryway is the first room that guests will see, so Lucinda wanted to make hers as warm and inviting as possible. A traditional patterned rug, playful polka dot lamp and canary yellow walls have a cheering effect: who wouldn’t feel uplifted after walking into a room like this? To tie the space to the nearby gardens, Lucinda featured faux agapanthus plants and baskets crafted from natural materials.

The House Of Lancaster

This quintessentially English entryway is a minimalist take on Nancy’s style. The room was already blessed with incredible period features, like the flagstone floor and elegant architrave, so it only needed a few keys pieces here and there. Annabel chose several designs in gold, they evoke such an air of grandeur.

The Height Of Pink

Geometric furniture and contrasting accents modernise this bright pink entryway. The gold mirror’s traditional silhouette complements the grand architectural detailing, whereas our Magicus Console introduces a contemporary note and just enough surface space to display a few decorative pieces.

It’s Black & White

The look and feel of the entryway are in keeping with Swedish-style interiors. A large faux coral steals the limelight and pairs beautifully with other accessories inspired by nature. Clever use of texture is so important in minimalist rooms; our faux shagreen sideboard and velvet Washakie Chairs bring just the right amount.
