Sky High

With high-rise living comes a release from the terrestrial constraints of period architecture: a truly blank canvas on which to decorate. Balance timeless with modern (oak with polished steel, velvet with chrome and lacquered wood with leather) for a stylish but accessible look, and with a spectacular view as your backdrop, the sky is literally the limit.

Living Room

Sky High - Living Room

A floor to ceiling panorama provides the fourth wall of this city apartment. The chosen colour scheme reflects the vagaries of the British weather, from moody greys to rich blues, whilst accents of chrome, mirror and glass help to flood the room with even more light. Open plan living spaces make great homes for entertaining, and corner sofas are a particularly sociable seating choice. Swap a cumbersome coffee table for a set of nested tables; they have a minimal footprint and can be stored together when extra floor space is required.

Bedroom

The ‘old with new’ styling continues into the main bedroom, where rustic wood and polished metal feature prominently throughout the scheme. Giant statement lamps flank either side of the bed, providing ample light for night-time reading. With a view over the city as fabulous as this, a desk or dressing table sited by the window is sure to provide much-needed inspiration, but should you want some respite, full length curtains allow you to block out the bustling city.

Dining Room

Leather chairs needn’t be restricted to the boardroom. Offset by a simple solid Oak dining table, their quilted seat and back evokes vintage elegance and the polished steel frame provides a more contemporary feel. Remarkably comfortable, they allow you to entertain guests well into the night, observing the twinkling cityscape below for a truly memorable dining experience.

Study

Sky High - Study

Here, we’ve transformed a built-in cupboard into a home office. Shut yourself away from the world (and all its modern appliances) and take a seat at this beautifully sleek black desk with an inset leather writing surface. A carefully positioned mirror above the desk allows for more light to enter the compact space, whilst a comfortable armchair (in rich red Oxblood leather) by the window is perfect for quiet contemplation and a prime position of the view.

Guest Bedroom

Opting for a King Size bed means losing a little bit of space, but many of our pieces have been designed with tricky spaces in mind. Narrow bedside tables big enough to hold night-time essentials fit easily beside the bed, and if there’s no room for a table lamp, a wall-mounted lamp is a space-saving alternative. The sumptuous colour scheme echoes the rest of the stylish apartment, with a pair of intricately etched cabinets as the show-stopping piece.
