In the 18th century this colour would have been made by tinting white with a little black. Whilst this paint has borrowed the name, a more complex colour has been created by introducing red oxide and yellow ochre. These earthy, natural ingredients produce a warm ash hue —a great mid-grey for city and country homes alike. Environmentally-friendly paint made from plants

Description & Details

It is fair to say that in the C18th this colour would have been made by tinting white with a little lamp black. We have borrowed the name but mixed a more complex colour by adding in red oxide and yellow ochre. These earthy tones give the colour not just that of ash, but that of a wood ash. A great mid grey for walls in town and country!
