If you’re looking for a neutral which has a little warmth, French Grey may be the answer. A subtle shade, it works equally well adorning walls or wood and creates an utterly timeless aesthetic. Whilst the traditional colour was quite cool, Edward Bulmer’s recipe combines red earth and black mixed with lemon yellow; the result is incredibly versatile. Description & Details

The classic recipe for this colour usually used red and blue pigment. This makes a slightly colder tone than ours which we have deliberately warmed up by using red earth and black mixed with lemon yellow to give the blueness. It makes for a really beautiful neutral which is completely timeless and equally at home on walls or woodwork..
