Named after Portland stone, the white limestone used to construct famous landmarks such as St Paul’s Cathedral, the Tower of London and Buckingham Palace. It’s sturdy, easy to sculpt and resistant to pollution, which is why it became the capital’s chosen building material. This warm, pale grey is a grown-up neutral, works beautifully on old walls and will offset deeper colours. Environmentally-friendly paint made from plants

Description & Details

The famous building stone, without which much of central London would lose its magnificence, gives its name to our stony off-white. Made only with earth and ore it is literally a first cousin to the true stone. This is a grown up neutral or can be used to offset deeper colours.
