Our king divan bed is comprised of a medium firm pocket-sprung mattress and ottoman style divan base, which lifts up to reveal plenty of storage inside. Both the mattress and the divan base are upholstered in 100% cotton ticking stripe. The king mattress has approximately 1,300 springs, with two rows of firmer springs around the edge for extra support and stability, not to mention a very comfortable night's sleep. The divan base features a platform top for firmness, and gas struts allow the top to lift up effortlessly and close smoothly. The king divan base is delivered in two parts for ease, then fixed together. All OKA divan beds are hand-made in the UK by a family firm with over 30 years of bed making experience.
