Riverside Residence

Lucinda uses the River Thames as a backdrop for her traditionally designed modern apartment. The interiors of this apartment delightfully contrast with the exterior of this wharfside apartment. Touches of modernity are portrayed via features like the crittall windows, which overlook the river and the hustle and bustle of city life, but the industrial architecture belies the traditional décor inside.

Dining Room

This rustic stone dining table contrasts with the softness of the woollen rug, stealing the show in this light-filled dining room. Glassware and light accessories make a dark table stand out and tie in nicely with the crittall window. For finishing touches, artificial blooms add flourishes of warm purple and red, carrying the integral warmth from room to room.

Sitting Room

In this beautiful sitting room with a view overlooking the Thames, Lucinda uses lots of metals to mirror the modern setting. Bright colours and patterns add warmth to the space, and the crittall window gives the room a modern edge. A focal point is the corner sofa which provides a layer of comfort to this traditional sitting room.

Master Bedroom

The apartment by the Thames boasts a beautiful red and white bedroom, which has been decorated with lots of traditional and modern features. Lucinda is conscious that inner-city apartments can often be tight in space, so for her Riverside Residence she has provided the room with plenty of storage in the form of rattan baskets, cabinets and side tables.

Hallway

As you walk through the hallway, you get a flavour of how the décor flows throughout Lucinda’s Riverside Residence. The room achieves the right balance between being decorative and functional; a wooden bin and baskets provide a stylish storage solution for items like umbrellas whilst sculptural lights suspend from the ceiling, acting as an extra source of light and warmth.
