Sea House

Summer is all about escape and relaxation, and where better to do so than in this beautiful beach house designed by Sue Jones. Whilst the beach is the main attraction here, a combination of neutral shades and coastal-inspired items helps to enhance the surroundings. Each room is calm and composed, using relaxed décor and minimalism to create an understated and elegant space.

Sitting Room

Sea House - Sitting Room

The Sea House sitting room is minimal and stripped back, allowing it to breathe and exist as a comfortable open space with sumptuous seating and cushions. Texture is added to this space in the form of characterful coastal ornaments on the coffee table and decorative plates on the wall. Two perfectly placed swivel armchairs provide a spot where you can sit back and admire the view.

Master Bedroom

Sue wanted the bedroom to be elegant but understated. She only used minimal furniture but made sure it was dramatic. The stunning studded four poster bed contrasted with dark wooden bedside furniture make a bold statement in the room, whilst the vibrant patterned cushions and lampshades add a fun summery twist.

Terrace

The terrace of our sea house is the ideal spot to enjoy breakfast in the morning or cocktails in the evening. Pink isn’t a colour you’d associate with the sea, but it sits perfectly against the blue backdrop of the sea. A floral printed tablecloth is a cheerful touch, with the addition of pink silk cushions on the ‘rattan’ armchairs providing extra comfort and colour.
