Gateleg Tables may have English origins but we have given ours a Gustavian update, involving minimal turned legs and a charcoal grey painted finish. This type of table became popular in the 16th century and is usually oval in shape. The drop ends at both sides are supported by pivoting legs which open and close like a gate depending on whether you want the leaves upright or collapsed. The Tieva has a small drawer in its centre, perfect for holding spare table linen and napkin rings.
