I. Terms & Conditions of Sale

II. Website Terms of Use (Limited Licence)

We grant you a limited, revocable, and non-exclusive licence to access and make personal use of the Website. Please note that you may not frame, link to, or utilise any framing or linking techniques to enclose the Website or any portion thereof without our prior written consent which may be withheld in our absolute discretion.

The limited licence set forth in this section does not include the right to:

  • modify or download the Website or its contents (except caching or as necessary to view content)
  • make any use of the Website or its Content other than personal use
  • create any derivative work based upon either the Website or its Content
  • collect account information for the benefit of another party
  • use any meta tags or any other ‘hidden text’ utilising our name or the Trade Marks without our express written consent
  • use software robots, spiders, crawlers, or similar data gathering and extraction tools, or take any other action that may impose an unreasonable burden or load on our infrastructure.

You are granted a limited, revocable, and non-exclusive right to create a hyperlink to the home page of the Website for personal, non-commercial use only. A website that links to our Website may:

  • Link to, but not replicate, our content
  • Not imply that we are endorsing such website or its services or products
  • Not misrepresent its relationship with us
  • Not contain content that could be construed as distasteful, obscene, offensive or controversial, and may contain only content appropriate for all ages
  • Not portray us or our products, services or Items, in a false, misleading, derogatory, or otherwise offensive or objectionable manner, or associate us with undesirable products, services, or opinions
  • Not use any Trade Mark without our prior written consent and
  • Not link to any page of the Website other than the home page. We may, in our sole discretion, request that you remove any link to the Website, and upon receipt of such request, you shall immediately remove such link.

Any unauthorised use by you of the Website terminates the limited licence set forth in this section without prejudice to any other remedy we may have provided for by applicable law.

IV. Promotions

Promotion Now Closed - Spend More, Save More

  • This promotion ran from 27th May to 10th June 2025 and is now closed. Customers who placed qualifying orders during this period are eligible to receive an electronic gift card as follows: Spend £500 and receive a £100 gift card. Spend £1,000 and receive a £250 gift card. Spend £2,000 and receive a £600 gift card. Offer applied to orders placed in-store or online during the promotional period. Excludes delivery charges, Interior Design Service orders, and Trade orders. Cannot be applied retrospectively to past purchases.
  • Qualifying customers will have received an order acknowledgment the day after purchase confirming their eligibility. The e-gift cards will be issued via email on 1st August 2025 and can be redeemed in-store or online between 1st and 31st August 2025 only.
  • If an original order is cancelled or returned in full or in part, and the final spend falls below a qualifying threshold, the value of the e-gift card may be reduced accordingly. If the final spend drops below £500, the e-gift card will be cancelled in full.

Promotional Codes

  • Offers are valid on full price and in stock items only.
  • Please refer to your marketing material for expiry date.
  • Enter code at checkout.
  • Discounts cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer/discount and cannot be applied retrospectively or to delivery charges. Other exclusions may apply.
  • Where a minimum spend applies, the amount must be spent in a single transaction to receive the discount.

SMS Discount Codes

  • Codes are valid for one month after you receive the text.
  • Offer is valid for online use only.
  • One use per customer.
  • Excludes Tailored by OKA, limited edition, gift cards, Outlet, sale items and delivery.
  • Offer cannot be used in conjunction with another offer and cannot be applied retrospectively.
  • Promotional Vouchers

    • Promotional Vouchers can only be redeemed on full-price items and cannot be used to purchase Limited Edition pieces or gift vouchers/cards.
    • Single use only, credit cannot be carried forward.
    • Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer/discount.
    • Promotional Vouchers have no cash value. They cannot be exchanged or refunded.
    • Expiry date is displayed on the voucher.

    Free Interior Design Consultation

    • A free instore Interior Design Consultation applies to your first appointment only.
    • Your appointment should be booked in advance with a member of the Interior Design Team in one of our stores, except for Chelsea, where walk-in appointments are available during weekdays.
    • No purchase necessary.
    • No cash alternative.
    • Any subsequent appointments are subject to a design fee, which can be redeemed against a minimum spend.

    V. Competitions

    General

    • Competitions are only open to UK residents aged 18 or over, excluding employees and the immediate families of OKA, their agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion
    • By entering any competition you are agreeing to be signed up to the OKA database. You may unsubscribe at any time.
    • All prizes are indicative and subject to variation.
    • Prizes is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative.
    • The winner(s) will be selected in a random draw conducted by OKA the next working day following the competition end date.
    • The Promoter is OKA Direct Limited. Registered in England and Wales Company Number: 3722366.
    • The winner will be contacted within 7 days of the draw. In the event that the winner has not responded within 14 days of notification then the Promoter reserves the right to reallocate the prize to a reserve winner.
    • Please allow up to 28 days for delivery of prize. The Promoter cannot be held responsible for any delays or damages occurred during transit.
    • The prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to use the prize as stated. The winner will be liable for all costs and expenses not stated relating to claiming or partaking of the prize.
    • The promoter may substitute items for items of an equal or greater value if, for any reason, the original item is unavailable.
    • By entering, winners agree that if they win they will participate in any reasonable publicity arranged by The Promoter or its agencies.
    • By entering the promotion entrants confirm that they have read and agree to be bound by these terms & conditions and by the decisions of the Promoter, which are final in all matters relating to the promotion. Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of the prize. No correspondence will be entered into.
    • The Promoter or its agencies accept no responsibility for any loss, injury or damage suffered through acceptance of the prize.
    • The Promoter or its agencies will not be responsible for the non-inclusion of entries as a result of technical failures or otherwise, including any such failure which is within the control of The Promoter or its agencies. Proof of submission of entry is not proof of receipt of entry.
    • The Promoter reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any person it finds to be tampering or to have tampered with the operation of the promotion or the OKA website, or to be acting in violation of these terms and conditions.
    • To the full extent permitted by law the Promoter will not accept liability for any loss, damage, injury or death arising from this promotion beyond its reasonable control.
    • OKA never passes on your email address to third parties.

    VI. Social Media

    There is nothing we love more than seeing our products at home, in your home. We know just how inspiring this can be to other customers, so from time to time we love sharing our favourites across our own channels.

    If your photo or video is chosen by us to feature, you will receive a reply to your social post from OKA’s official account, asking for your permission to publish your photo or video. Please reply with #YESOKA to give your permission and agree to the following Terms and Conditions:

    • You acknowledge that your content may appear on OKA-owned channels, including social media, website, email, online advertising, and our print catalogue.
    • You grant OKA a non-exclusive, worldwide, transferable, royalty-free, irrevocable licence to use your photo or video – we will always credit your social media account name alongside any used content.
    • You give permission for us to modify, crop or edit your image or video for use on our channels, without materially altering your original image or video.
    • You confirm that the content is of your original creation and does not infringe or might infringe the rights of a third party.

    VII. Interior Design Service

    Design Deposit

    • In order to secure the project with the Interior Design Service and get assigned to a designer, we require a design deposit after the initial consultation. Our design deposit is £450 per room redeemable against a minimum spend of £5,000 per room made by yourself with your dedicated interior designer (“Design Deposit”). This cannot be referenced with any other order, person or business.
    • We can only proceed to the design stages after the design deposit payment has been settled.
    • We accept the following credit cards and debit cards and payment methods: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Delta, PayPal, bank transfers and OKA Gift Cards.
    • We will charge an additional design deposit when adding areas to an existing project. Design Deposits can only be refunded once installation of all goods has been completed and any returns have been processed leaving the total order value to exceed £5000 per room.

    Site Visits

    • Depending on location, our designers can attend your property to carry out a full site visit and take measurements. All projects within a 2-hour travel time of OKA’s Chelsea or Guildford stores are free of charge.
    • Projects under two rooms outside this radius may require an additional charge of between £100-200 (depending on location) to cover travel costs. This will be added to the Design Deposit and will also be redeemable against a minimum spend of £5,000.
    • International projects may require additional site visit charges redeemable against a spend of over £20,000.

    Virtual Consultations

    • Virtual consultations, design presentation and meetings will be held via Microsoft Teams, Zoom or FaceTime. Your designer will book a time in with you via a diary invite sent to your preferred email address provided by you.
    • You will be expected to supply photographs, measurements of the space and rooms and a floor plan if obtainable. We may ask for you permission to record the meeting for training purposes only.

    Design Proposal

    • Design proposals will take between 5-10 days to prepare depending on the size of the project. We prefer to present our proposal to you in person or virtually before sending you a copy of the proposal. Our service includes 2 rounds of amendments per project. Any further amendments may require an additional fee.
    • Payment

      • Your payment will be processed immediately upon ordering. We ask that all orders are to be placed through your allocated designer to ensure your deposit is refunded. To ensure the stock is reserved for your project as per the approved proposal, your payment must be received within a maximum of 7 days after the date that invoice has been issued. If the payment is not received within the 7 days, the stock will be released.

      Lead-Times and Delivery

      • Lead-times of products can vary; your designer will be able to provide this information before payment is taken. In-stock items can be delivered within 10 working days. We will aim to manage your deliveries so that you receive the majority of your order in one go followed by some smaller deliveries, if necessary, but this cannot be guaranteed.

      The installation service will include the following services:

      • Sending one of the design team members on site to meet the OKA delivery van, unpacking, placing the items into position and dressing the property according to the designs produced for orders over £10,000.
      • We also ensure that all packaging is taken away.
      • We do not hang mirrors or picture frames, but if requested by you in writing, we can arrange this service at an additional cost.

      Returns

      • We encourage you to be sure certain of the finalised design before ordering through us. If necessary, we will offer to show you the products in our showrooms before finalising the design and taking payment to limit possible returns.

      Trade Customers

      • Trade customers will be able to use our Interior Design Service for a non-refundable amount of £1,500 per room. Once we have completed our proposal and you acknowledge your agreement in writing, we will transfer you to our Trade department to process your order.
      • Consultations at your property will incur an additional fee of £450. If your property is within a 2-hour travel time of OKA’s Chelsea or Guildford Stores such fee will be non-refundable. If your property is based outside this radius, we reserve the right to charge you additional travel expenses.
      • Alternatively, our Trade team is able to provide some advice virtually or at our Chelsea store if requested.

      General Additional Window Treatments

      • Our window treatments are outsourced by OKA to our trusted window treatment manufacturers.
      • These treatments are a made to measure item made specifically to your order specifications. Once you have paid for your order, we are unable to cancel the order. We do this as the items we make or source for you are unlikely to be re-saleable to others. We are unable to refund the amount paid for these made to measure items unless they are faulty, in which case this will be processed in accordance with clause 13 of our main terms and conditions which can be found via the following link: www.oka.com/pages/conditions-of-sale
      • Our measure and/or fitting service will depend on the size of your project, budget and location. It may be preferable for you to take measurements yourself to avoid additional charges from us for our measuring services. We have supplied a Measure Guide and can offer guidance to the designer or you with regards to what information we require prior to any visit. If you would prefer for us to come out to measure or if the soft furnishing requirements necessitate this, then we can facilitate this in accordance with the below costs.
      • Our costs for attending to carry out our measure and/or fitting services are: £475 a day or £250 for half a day, excluding overtime, petrol, parking, and/or congestion charges which will attract addition costs.
      • Our services cover locations within a 2-hour drive from where the fitters are based in London and Worcester. We may be able to arrange measuring and fitting via local fitters in areas where it may not be financially viable for our fitters to visit, but this cannot be guaranteed.
      • We will provide you with a free of charge estimated quote based on measurements we have either taken whilst visiting your property or measurements which you have supplied yourself (guidelines will be provided). If you accept our quotation, we shall arrange a full site measure carried out by either us or our contractors.

      Tailored by OKA

      • Once you place an order, any alterations or cancellations communicated to us in writing within 48 hours of when you placed the order will be free of charge. In the event of a cancellation between 48-hours post order and 14 days post delivery, you will be charged a restocking fee and will only entitled to a refund of 50% of the original amount paid.
      • Following 14 days of the order being delivered, regrettably we cannot offer any refunds on returned items. In the case that your product is faulty, this will be processed in accordance with clause 13 of our main terms and conditions which can be found via the following link: www.oka.com/pages/conditions-of-sale
      • VIII. Storage Fee Policy

        Storage Fee

        Customers may request to hold or store their orders with us for a period beyond the original scheduled delivery date. While we strive to accommodate such requests, please be aware that a storage fee will be applied to cover the costs incurred during the storage period. The storage fee is calculated based on the order value including VAT and the duration of the storage period from the original order date:

        • Orders Over £5,000 (including VAT): A storage fee of 1% of the order value per month will be charged from the beginning of the storage period.
        • Orders £5,000 or Less (including VAT): A flat storage fee of £50 per month will be charged from the beginning of the storage period.

        Maximum Holding Period

        Please note that the maximum holding period for any order is 6 months from the original order date. After this period, we will require you to take delivery of your order.

        Non-Refundable Service

        The storage fee is a non-refundable service. This fee does not affect your statutory rights, including your right to cancel your order as outlined in our Cancellation Policy. If you choose to cancel your order, any storage fees already incurred will not be refunded. By requesting us to hold or store your order, you acknowledge and accept these terms and conditions regarding the storage fee and maximum holding period.
