The Kolmio Table Lamp is a striking piece, handmade from iron and meticulously hand-painted in red with a repeating arrow-pattern border and bronzed edges. The shade is hand formed and hand welded, combining vintage style with Regency-era gold touches and bold, rich colours. The details are hand painted by a small group of talented artisans led by a master painter who has honed their craft over many generations to produce these beautifully layered pieces. The colour is created in a lengthy process through many layers of paint; the craftspeople wait for each layer to dry before applying the next, and finally adding a crackled effect for antique style. Due to the artisanal techniques used, each piece will have individual characteristics that add to their charm. This lamp would look beautiful tucked away in a reading corner, adding interest and colour into the darkest corners of your home or equally, front and centre as a focus of your desk or dressing table for all to see.

A Real Page-Turner

We started as a mail-order interiors company with three women bringing truly unique designs from the East to interiors-lovers in the West. Lady Annabel Astor, a serial entrepreneur, invited two friends along on a sourcing trip: Sue Jones, whose decorating pedigree includes time at Jasper Conran and Colefax and Fowler, and Lucinda Waterhouse, a skilled horticulturist.
