Spotlight On Our Recycled Wood Collection
Discover the fascinating origins of our recycled furniture pieces in this story that unites sustainability and artisanal skill.
In Greek myth, everything Midas touched would turn to gold, therefore it seemed a fitting name for our Midas Range, with its touches of gold on the bun feet and metal plates at each corner. The beautiful and unusual grain of the wood is produced from highly sought-after burl wood - this is a cross section of the knots that form on trees, and so features a swirling pattern referred to as a 'wild grain', that requires highly skilled craftsmen in order to cut it without splitting the wood. Due to the material and artisanal techniques used for this side table, each piece will have individual characteristics that add to their charm.
