Good news, then, we’ve got a host of beautiful designs and bright ideas to help you tick everyone off your Christmas list, from furniture and accessories to textiles and lighting. The OKA Christmas Gift Guide 2025
Something for Everyone
“I like to give presents with purpose or things I would like to receive myself. For example, our mini Grisewood wireless lamp can be used outside in the garden or down the centre of a table, which makes it as useful as it is stylish. It’s safer than candles and is great for all age groups, too. Otherwise, I often gift cosy throws – you can never have too many of them, such as Zevla made from recycled wool in a deep-brown colourway – or smart crockery like a set of hand-painted Kraak breakfast cups and saucers. Any kind of handwoven rattan is always lovely to receive, like a tray or coasters, as is a serving bowl or linen napkins. I also love giving something like a large Chinese vase – Changshou or Liliang – filled with faux flowers. It’s a little luxury people might not buy for themselves. I always keep a stash of smaller items as last-minute gifts for people I might have forgotten – beautiful glasses are very useful.”

All Fun and Games
“I’ll be gifting the Capablanca games table to my husband for Christmas – just don’t tell him! Backgammon is a firm tradition in the Yorke-Long household over the festive season, and I love nothing more than a game in front of the fire with a negroni in-hand. Our eldest daughter is also a keen chess player – she’s getting quite good – while our youngest is a notorious card shark. The table combines all our family favourites in one stylish piece and doubles-up as a side table for drinks that will be well-used over the entertaining season!”

Play for Keeps
“The beautifully-handmade Bennet backgammon set is my top pick for gifting, and for good reason – crafted in buttery-soft leather with a distinctive debossed design, it’s an elegant piece that will delight any recipient. Backgammon is the perfect game to enjoy curled up on the sofa with a glass of wine, especially at Christmas when the pace slows. Timeless and sophisticated, it appeals to everyone – whether your mum, uncle or even a distant relative – making it a wonderful way to bring people together. Built to last for generations, the set isn’t just a gift for now, but a cherished heirloom to be enjoyed and passed down for years to come. I played backgammon almost every day of my recent holiday, so I thought it only prudent I share my love for this piece – a perfect way to unwind and reconnect in the sunshine as well as the chilly English winter.”

Happy Bedfellows
“I’m going to buy two sets of the Chaar decanter and matching tumblers – one to gift and one to keep! They’re the kind of thing you’d never usually buy for yourself, but the glassware is so useful for placing beside the bed when you have guests staying. They’re also a nice addition to your home bar, whether filled with water or something a bit stronger! A beautiful example of how our designs can elevate an everyday ritual.”
Kat Priest, Head of Marketing and Brand
Take a Seat
“Thinking of truly spoiling a loved one? The Alexandrina two-seater sofa combines superior comfort in its deep, inviting seat with stylish elegance in its refined silhouette, gently-curved arms and linen upholstery. It’s old-school charm updated for contemporary living and someone would be very lucky indeed to be bestowed one for their home this Christmas – sure to sweep them off their feet, quite literally.”
Antoni Roig, Senior Interior Designer
Bright Idea
“I’m going to gift the Purdy wireless table lamp to a good friend this year – just don’t tell them! I love the colour – the hand-painted blue and vellum stripes take their inspiration from big-top circus tents – while its cordless design means it’s perfect for placing a few down the centre of a dining table or a pair at either end of a mantelpiece. Come summer, it’s great for illuminating an al fresco supper in the garden so it can continue long after dark, while at Christmas it adds a warm and flattering glow to festive feasts.”
Bruce MacArthur, Head of Store Design and Visual Merchandising
Feast for the Senses
You can’t go wrong with a beautifully-designed candle with an evocative fragrance – whether for Christmas or just because – and our Cardamom Hills candle is just the thing to tease the senses. It’s inspired by the natural scents of its namesake mountain range in Kerala, India, with cardamom, cedarwood and sandalwood, while its decorative and reusable vessel comes in a mustard colourway to make a statement on any shelf or table.”

Wrap It Up
“Whether wrapped around your shoulders or draped over the bed, our Muhibbi throw is as cosy as it is chic, meticulously-crafted from luxurious silk and cotton in an earthy-red colourway and featuring an abstract tulip print. The delicate fringing adds a gorgeous finishing touch, too. Who wouldn’t like to receive this tactile and colourful piece on Christmas morning? Otherwise, a pair of our vintage-inspired Evander wine glasses is always well received, the green stem adding a decorative accent. Better still, the glasses come beautifully-boxed, meaning all you need to do is tie with a stylish ribbon and add a name tag.”

In the Frame
“Our Judwa bone picture frames makes such a thoughtful gift – the soft cream tones and subtle green stripes look timeless yet distinctive. Together, the pair brings warmth, texture and a touch of colour to any space. Why not gift to a loved one with your favourite photos already popped in the frames? For a bigger gift, the Joshuah side table is a hand-painted piece that combines bold, playful design with practical versatility. Its foldable structure makes it perfect for even the cosiest of nooks, while its striking colours and elegant details instantly brighten a room. As a present, it’s ideal for anyone who loves a bit of personality in their home.”

Jewel in the Crown
“Who wouldn’t be delighted to unwrap a literal bunch of jewels this Christmas? The onyx grapes make for a dazzling accent, crafted from richly-toned stones in warm amber, caramel and honey, each with its own natural variation. Resting on elegant golden stems, they bring a touch of opulence to any surface, whether nestled on a mantelpiece, styled on a coffee table or elevating a festive tablescape. A fantastic piece of objet d’art, they’re as joyful as they are refined, and offer exceptional value for a gift that’s sure to spark conversation and admiration. Alternatively, the Herbert sofa side table evokes the warmth and elegance of Christmas, making it a perfect present for those who love to entertain. Characterised by its classic column detailing and finished in a rich earthy red, this piece offers a refined platform for a table lamp, glass of mulled wine or favourite book. The hidden drawer adds clever storage, ideal for keeping Christmas cards or winter reads close to hand. Stylish, functional and beautifully-made, it’s gift that will be cherished long after the decorations come down.”
Thomas Smith, Product Design and Development Manager
Serve Up Style
“A tray is far more than a utilitarian piece of equipment. It’s a canvas that sets the stage for countless gatherings when topped with drinks and nibbles. The chinoiserie tray is both decorative and sturdy, hand-crafted by a skilled team of artisans in India. The multi-coloured pattern is achieved by applying multiple layers of paint finished with lacquer and wax to add a luxurious sheen and protective layer. It’s just the thing for tea-lovers – sure to add a sense of ceremony to their afternoon ritual.”
