    In the year of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee, we reimagined a rare antique originally designed for Westminster Abbey for the coronation of King George VI. The dipped seat pad has remained, but it's been given a modern makeover with a longer back panel and extra padding for added comfort. The characteristic carved hoof feet add charming detail that elevate the design from something simple to something more sophisticated. The natural grain of the wood will have individual characteristics from piece to piece. Our Spruce green velvet version has added contemporary details in the form of a black-and-white braid that sits around the edge of the seat.
