Comfort is important to us, and it's delivered in abundance in this two-seater sofa, which is inspired by traditional 20th-century English designs. As well as its rounded arms, uniform skirting detail and Espresso-coloured stained birch wood legs, the sofa is built with a sprung back and a deep seat, which is crafted using traditional coil springs that are held together with webbing. A layer of foam, topped off with a deep, channelled duck feather-filled seat cushion, ensures optimum comfort. This version is fixed with a natural linen cover.

FAQs

Yes. As a small 2-seater sofa with legs, the Coleridge measures a compact 127cm wide, 88cm deep and 84cm high, making it an easy fit for smaller living rooms, snugs or bay windows. Its rounded arms and neat proportions mean it reads as cosy and considered rather than bulky, even in a more modest space.

A Real Page-Turner

We started as a mail-order interiors company with three women bringing truly unique designs from the East to interiors-lovers in the West. Lady Annabel Astor, a serial entrepreneur, invited two friends along on a sourcing trip: Sue Jones, whose decorating pedigree includes time at Jasper Conran and Colefax and Fowler, and Lucinda Waterhouse, a skilled horticulturist.
