Hirkani is a name of Indian origin meaning 'small diamond'; the OKA cushion of the same name features motifs and embroidery that are similarly Indian inspired. In particular the design takes its cues from a type of Punjabi folk embroidery - Phulkari patterns. Our modern take on the classic is machine embroidered onto a heavy, quality linen base using a digitally programmed design for full coverage. Full of warmth, the dirty orange colourway's textural finish and precise pattern is complemented by a grey-blue dot at the point of each diamond.
