The Stafford Dining Chair has been an OKA best seller ever since it launched in 2015. It was created by Annabel Astor, when she was unable to find the perfect upholstered dining chair. Every season, we reimagine this classic chair in new ways, introducing different colours and finishes to the range. Given the popularity of kitchen islands and home bars, it made perfect sense to develop a matching Stafford Stool. Our bar chair features the same stained oak wood legs, comfortable backrest and stud detailing, but it is fixed at worktop height and includes a useful footrest. This version features smart China Clay cream leather upholstery. Every element of the stool, from each metal stud hammered into place by hand to the real leather upholstery and stained legs, will result in the stool having individual character.

To care for aged tobacco leather, dust regularly with a soft dry cloth and wipe spills quickly. Use a suitable leather conditioner from time to time to help keep the leather supple and looking its best.
For comfortable kitchen island seating, allow around 15 to 25cm between bar stools, depending on their width and the amount of elbow room you want. This helps the Stafford Bar Stool feel practical for everyday dining and entertaining.
