Behind the Designs of Our Autumn Collection

Every collection begins with an idea. For autumn 2026, that idea is one of warmth and character, brought to life through rich colour, thoughtful craftsmanship and details that reveal themselves over time. From jewel-inspired palettes and tactile natural materials to hand-painted motifs and reimagined OKA icons, each piece has been designed to feel considered, collected and made to be lived with.

Here, we take you behind the designs, exploring the inspirations, materials and craftsmanship that shaped the season’s newest arrivals.

Colours of The Season

This autumn, we’ve introduced three new colour combinations, drawing on warm, jewel-inspired tones balanced by cooler undertones from our core palette. Warm red, caramel and apricot are combined with air force blue, spruce and grey green to create a palette that feels both inviting and refined. Designed to be layered across furniture, textiles and decorative accessories, these considered colour pairings bring depth and character to interiors.

The Art of Texture

While colour sets the mood, it’s the materials that bring the collection to life. Throughout the collection, luxurious natural textures create a sense of indulgent cosiness. The recycled cashmere of our new Mireira Throw, the velvet of our Cresswell Velvet 3-Seater Sofa, and the bespoke trims of our new Elveden Cushion Cover come together to create layered depth.

Exquisite bone inlay features for the first time in the furniture category with our new Tattersall Side Table. Each tile is hand-finished and carefully placed, creating a distinctive pattern that brings together rich materials and the season’s green hues.

Long considered a symbol of quality and craftsmanship, this season sees our Crosby Armchair reimagined in soft green leather. This piece combines tactile richness with OKA heritage design and a fresh seasonal colour.

Prints and Patterns

Pattern has long been part of the OKA story, bringing character to every room. This season, we’ve looked to the natural world and decorative traditions to create designs that feel expressive and timeless.

Building on the success of Sheki, our Tarma range has been updated with a new embroidered design. Intricate floral detailing and our seasonal accent colour bring added depth and texture to the collection.

Nature has been a consistent source of inspiration for our design team, and this collection is no exception. From the hand-painted pomegranates on our Melograno Tray to the Chinoiserie-inspired landscapes on our Shanshui Table Lamp Base and Huangshan Lidded Jar, nature-inspired designs appear across categories.

Continuing this theme, our new autumn collection also introduces a selection of hand-painted animal motifs. Discover subtle scenes, such as the dragons on our Pulao Table Lamp Base, as well as more literal silhouettes like those on our Lingyin Table Lamp Base which takes inspiration from traditional Chinese design.

The Evolution of Our Icons

Some designs have become synonymous with the OKA aesthetic – eclectic, layered, travelled – and are celebrated for their enduring appeal. We call them OKA Icons, and this autumn we’re reintroducing some much-loved rattan favourites, including our Indah Rattan Vase with its plaited band and three decorative handles, alongside the Mandalay Napkin Rings.

After finding a new medium in wallpaper last season, our Areca seafoam design now features on a Sheringham Headboard, extending the reach of one of our most-loved motifs into a fresh, versatile piece.

New Takes on Our Favourites

Some designs earn their place as favourites for a reason. This autumn, we’ve revisited a selection of our best-loved pieces, introducing new formats and colours that give them a fresh perspective while staying true to what made them so popular.

Our best-selling Dera Prints have been given an autumnal refresh with softer, more muted tones and increased floral motifs, making them easier to style across a wider range of spaces.

The Hester range has long been a favourite among customers and our interiors team alike. The introduction of an alternate finish has been highly anticipated, and it’s finally here. The new Hester Chest of Drawers and Hester Side Table bring a fresh, sophisticated look to this popular collection.

The Stafford collection has also been expanded with a new spruce green leather Stafford Dining Chair, bringing a fresh twist while still reinforcing the Stafford’s reputation for timeless craftsmanship.
