The Homar is an addition to our collection of Persian-inspired rugs with bold abstract botanical motifs on a neutral ground. The piece is hand tufted, which is a weaving technique that combines ancient skills with modern tools. It involves using a canvas, a tufting gun, and wool strands that are pushed into the base. After weaving, the rug is washed and backed to secure the tufts and a cotton secondary backing is applied for a final protective finishing. Due to the artisanal craft process, each piece will have individual characteristics that add to their charm.
