This rich history echoes our own roots and our founders’ globetrotting adventures in search of the wonderful and the whimsical in China, India and beyond. This candle’s rich and heady scent has heart notes of pomegranate, black amber and clove, reflecting the very commodities that once traversed the thousands of miles of this ancient route between East and West.
Cardamom Hills
Our final stop on this whirlwind world tour is India, where our founders and product designers wander to seek inspiration from the country’s vivid colours, silky textiles and glorious patterns. The lush mountains, spice forests and bounteous bazaars of its ‘spice coast’, Kerala, inspire this woody, spicy scent with rich heart notes of cardamom, cedarwood and sandalwood. And the name? The Cardamom Hills – Yela Mala – are home to many of the scents that come together to create this wonderful fragrance, which transports you to exotic climes the moment match meets wick.
